On day way to Dolphin's nose view point
Here's some good information about the Important peaks in the NILGIRIS.
Because of Mist/Fog nothing was visible, the only thing what ppl could enjoy was CLIMATE.

Everytime i visit OOTY, the experience is very different. The Weather, Crowd, their ENTHU, may be thats why i visit ooty this often.

Coming back to Mysore VIA Gudalur.
Right deviation takes you to Mudumalai-Bandipur, Mysore.
This is the Junction, where you can choose whether you will go to OOTY via Kallati Ghat which is only 36 Kms or you will travel to OOTY via Gudalur which is around 60 Kms.
Now Road is good in both ROUTES, depends on the driver. If you love driving in Hair Pin Bends, & if your vehicle is in a condition to do it.. GO VIA KALLATI. Or take Gudalur Road.

Route :
While Going -> Mysore-Gundlupet-Bandipur-Madumalai-Masinagudi-Kallatti Ghat-Ooty.
While Coming-> Ooty-Pykara-Gudalur-Madumalai-Bandipur-Gundlupet-Mysore.
Distance :
Via Masinagudi & Kallati Ghat(Awesome ghat u have 36 hair pin bends) -> 125 kms[if you are very comfortable in driving then u can take your vehicle here or it is high risk].
Via gudalur->160-165 kms.
